Nervous System & Regulation
The autonomic nervous system
Your autonomic nervous system helps regulate stress, recovery, digestion, breathing, heart rate and how your body adapts to daily load. Chiropractic care considers these patterns alongside movement, posture, joints, muscles and your health history.
For some people, care is about easing pain. For others, it is about improving movement, feeling less guarded, or learning how stress and load show up in the body.

Imaging, techniques & support
Treatment is selected to match the person and presentation. Dr Asena may analyse X-rays, ultrasounds, MRI or CT imaging, refer out for imaging when clinically relevant, and co-manage or refer to a trusted network of practitioners where appropriate.
Techniques are chosen based on assessment findings, comfort, goals, stage of care, and whether your body needs a gentle approach, a more specific adjustment, rehabilitation support, or referral for further investigation.
What happens in care
Talk through your symptoms, goals, health history, lifestyle, and any relevant imaging.
Complete movement, posture, neurological, muscle, and joint checks as clinically appropriate.
Explain the findings and agree on a care plan before treatment starts.
Provide treatment that may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, education, and tailored exercises.
Review progress over time and adapt care as your needs change.
